Right off the bat, I was hooked by MAKE MY DAY’s track “Distorted”. It starts off with a very electronic vibe but that doesn’t last long and it quickly moves into something much more intense. To say that this song ‘made my day’ would be an understatement (see what I did there?).
This song is for fans of all things heavy and intense. If you like Enter Shikari, Born of Osiris, Architects, Attack Attack, or anything like that, you will love this song. Throughout the nearly three minutes that this track lasts, it is an assault on your ears in a perfect way. There are elements of electronic sounds and rap-metal scattered throughout this song which gives it a super unique and intriguing sound. Although the entire song is intense and loud, there are subtle rises and falls (and one epic break right before the two minute mark) which keeps this song from feeling like it’s just one level. So, turn your speakers up as loud as they go, stand up, and mosh your way through this genius song to help get your blood pumping this morning!
