Where is the day going? I feel like I’m getting so much done and am really feeling quite accomplished but, when I really step back and look at the list of things I still have to do, I start to feel a bit overwhelmed and defeated. I’m starting to come to terms with the fact that this is just my life now but, as a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to getting things done and cleaned up, it’s low key killing me. Thankfully, I have songs like “Spam Call Likely” from Cat Positive to keep me feeling, well, positive.

“Spam Call Likely” is full of energy which is just what I needed right now. With a bit of a pop-punk influence, a hint of emo tendencies and an overall 90s vibe to it. What all of that means is that it’s the perfect track for me and anyone else who loves to get lost in clouds of nostalgia but is also always searching for the next big thing. I’m here to tell you that Cat Positive will be that next big thing. Their sound is accessible and familiar but stands out so beautifully in the music world of today. I really like the raw feeling you get from the recording but also how it feels so well put together. It’s as if they are trying to mask a more DIY or garage-punk vibe behind their song but I still hear it and it just adds that special sauce to an already amazing song.
