Dance Your Brass Off

"Geez, that was kind of fun, guys!" - a gentleman to the opening act right after their set. I feel like that statement represents Tuesday night at The Turf Club so perfectly. It was a Mardi Gras celebration- Minnesota style.... Continue Reading →

You Made Me This Way

It was a wacky and wild weekend, what with Halloween and it being a "kids weekend" where my boyfriend's kids were with us. It was fun, but it was just too much, and by Sunday night, all I really wanted... Continue Reading →

Dangerous Dreams and Memories

Covering Riot Fest in Chicago last weekend was insane. I mean, come on, I got to photograph and see John Stamos playing with The Beach Boys, photographed Weird Al, and got to see Cobra Starship perform for the first time... Continue Reading →

You Can Run, You Can Hide, But You Can’t Escape My Love

The Trilogy Tour at Xcel Energy Center featured Ricky Martin, Pitbull, and Enrique Iglesias, with rotating headliner sets. Ricky Martin stole the show with a heartfelt, captivating performance. Pitbull delivered an over-the-top, danceable show with moments of vulnerability. Despite initial doubts, Enrique Iglesias impressed with crowd interaction and a mature, romantic vibe. The concert provided an unexpectedly enjoyable pop music experience.
