I am absolutely running low on energy right now so I felt like it was only fitting to share “Running Low” from Austin, Texas based Ritual Club.
Although the song is titled “Running Low” and the beginning of the track starts off slowly and smoothly, this track quickly ramps into an anthemic pop-punk/ emo track that is sure to satisfy any nostalgic cravings you have been having lately. On top of that, this song reminds me of some of the new moody emo bands coming out these days such as Free Throw and Oso Oso. Really, it’s the perfect balance of new and old with a true distinct vibe that is putting Ritual Club on the map. Full of life, heart, and passion, this song hits you like a ton of bricks with it’s catchy chorus and just overall anthemic vibe. “Running Low” is the title track off of Ritual Club’s brand new EP that was just released through Really Rad Records so please excuse me while I ignore the work piling up and just get lost in this entire EP.
