It’s not even 9:30 in the morning and my day has already been fire after fire and me trying to put them out. I should be feeling pessimistic, defeated, depressed but, instead, I’m optimistic, excited, and insanely positive right now. Why you may ask? Because Prabir Trio just released their video for “Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva” and it is absolutely making my life right now.
This song (and video) is straight-up fun. There’s no other way to put it. The song will make you move and groove and the video will just enhance that due to the party scenes that it depicts. Sonically, this song runs the gamut of old school rock n’ roll and an almost Black Keys energy that brings a vintage taste to a super solid sound. Lyrically, this song is about the Hindu holy trinity- Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Even if those words mean nothing to you, by the end of this song, you will be wanting to dig into those words and the background of this holy trinity purely due to the joyous feeling that this song gives you.
This video was created by The Sunroom. It’s eye catching with bright colors and the way it cuts in and out from live footage of the band to footage of the band performing in what seems to be the most epic house party of all time. Again, everything about this song radiates positivity and, regardless of how your Thursday has started, it will surely brighten your day and make everything okay for the forseeable future.
Full disclosure, I’ve listened to this song no less than two dozen times already and I’m still not over it so, fair warning, you will get hooked and I will not apologize for that.
