I know that I have been on trains at some point of my life but it’s not something I remember much of. Trains fascinate me but, due to the way I get so sick in any moving anything, I avoid them. DDRB wrote their new song “At The Gravel Pit” while touring the United States by train. Something about that just fascinates me and I also feel like that adds the sense of grit and passion and made me fall in love with this song and band.

“At The Gravel Pit” is very much a punk folk song so it should be no surprise that it comes with a sense of DIY grit that just can not be washed out. That being said, it’s something that you don’t want to wash out of this track as it gives it that DDRB signature sound. This song is neither fast nor frantic yet every single second of this track is filled with a fiery sense of passion that will leave you with a smile on your face and a fire under your butt. I wish I had more to say about this track but it’s short which is just adds to the perfection of it and that DIY punk edge. Honestly, I know we are all busy, but you can spare two minutes and check this track out and then you can thank me!
