Every once in awhile, it feels good to listen to something aggressive and a bit in-your-face. That’s exactly what you get from “Hot Lisbon Nights” from Storm Boy. This song is fast and punky like a punch to the face but it does not sacrifice composition or creativity which is refreshing. With this cool blend of post-punk, garage punk, grunge, and even something a bit more poppy, “Hot Lisbon Nights” is an addicting track that will make you want to get up and move while also sending you into a bit of a world of nostalgia. My favorite part of this song is the shouted lyrics. They have an almost Rancid vibe to them at times but, at others, something a bit more like Dillinger Four. “Hot Lisbon Nights” is all over the place but it makes for a super creative and easy listen to check it out and show this band some love!
