“Kaputt” from KID-O came out the first Friday of April so I fear I can’t really call this a “new song” at this point but, just in case you’ve been sleeping on this amazing band from Germany– Reader- please meet KID-O and their song “Kaputt”!
I honestly can’t pinpoint what hooked me about this track but I can too you that, within just thirty seconds, I was madly and deeply in love with this band. This song is energetic and powerful but has a true hook and a sense of genius composition throughout the song. It’s part grunge, part punk and all heart. I love the way the grit of the grunge influence collides with the angst of the punk influence to create this sound that, even if played at a low volume, will seep into your soul. That being said, “Kaputt” is not a song to be played quietly. Turn up the volume and let this song take over your space. It will either act as a great pick-me-up or will work as an outlet for you to get some pent up aggression out. Either way, “Kaputt” from KID-O will hit and it will hit hard and perfectly.
