Girl at the Rock Shows

I honestly hate the title of this track. Do NOT feed grapes to dogs. They are highly toxic to dogs and, being such an animal lover, even writing this song title was rough for me but, that being said, this new song from Denver band frog team is more than worth a share so, if I can look past this title, you can too and you really need to push play on this track.

Okay, I know I just bashed the crap out of this song title but, when you get into this song, it makes sense. This is an evil song about giving into your worst urges. It acknowledges the fact that we all have those days, week, moments, or whatever where misery takes over and people give in. It’s a thing that happens and I love the way that frog team conveys the feeling in this track. There’s a sense of frantic desperation and institutionalized chaos but also this undeniable sense of heart and fire. With a cool blend of math rock and post-punk all put together with an oddly boppy aura, “(I Want to) Feed Grapes To Dogs” may have a terrible song title but it’s such a great song.
