Girl at the Rock Shows

Happy Sunday, everyone and happy Mother’s day to all of the amazing moms out there. It’s a good day to get some stuff done and just have a chill and relaxing day in the beautiful summerlike weather but, before I do that, I want to share out some new music so we all have the perfect soundtrack to this perfect day starting with “I Don’t Feel Good” from Esso featuring Aliya Rose.

This song isn’t metal or punk. It’s actually as far away from both of those things I could get but that doesn’t change how perfectly catchy this track is. It has a definite earworm quality to it with an almost vintage hue to the vocals and a super carefree feeling in the instrumentation. If you’re just waking up and getting on with your day, this song will definitely get it started off right and put a smile on your face while giving you a jolt of energy. On top of all of that are the lyrics. I mean, come on, we can all relate to the phrase “I Don’t Feel Good” but it’s the way that frontman Jared Mancuso presents those words that makes them really hit home. Add the gorgeous way that Aliya Rose’s vocals blend with Jared’s and you are left with a true masterpiece.
