Girl at the Rock Shows

I’ve been lost in a haze of nostalgic pop-punk and 90s alt-rock all morning. It’s been a great journey but it’s time to amp it up as I find myself slipping into a state of pure defeat. Thankfully for me, the next track I have to share with you is “Decay” from Releasing The Waves.

Releasing The Waves is Joe Taglieri and Joe decided that “Decay” was going to be his heaviest song yet. Mission accomplished. Although this song is just a couple seconds over two minutes long, it packs a punch and intensity and darkness. Although I think this is a dark song, I love the fact that all of the brilliant parts of this song (all done by Joe) come through loud and clear. The beat isn’t just a standard one. There’s movement and a sense of dynamics throughout this track that makes it feel exciting all the way to the end. I promise that after just one listen to “Decay”, you will be left wanting so much more from Releasing The Waves.
