Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today is technically my Friday so I am breezing through work due to the anticipation of not being at the day job over the next couple of days. Although my head is in the clouds, I still have a lot to get done so now is the perfect time to check out some new music to help keep me motivated and in control of the day.
“How We Messed Up the Space Time Continuum” is the first single off of Urban Doctor’s EP and, if this doesn’t want to make you hear more from this band then I suggest you get your hearing checked. This fast (but not furious) track is full of angst and attitude. The skate punk vibe is strong throughout this song but you also get a little dribble of something a bit more pop-punk based throughout this song. I think the band I would most relate this sound to is Pkew Pkew Pkew but I know that’s a bit of an obscure reference and definitely far from a perfect match. I’m not sure what’s happening in Pittsburgh, PA right now but I know that my eyes are on that scene after hearing the perfection that is “How We Messed Up the Space Time Continuum” from Urban Doctors.
