Girl at the Rock Shows

Losing all of my social media accounts in the blink of an eye yesterday had me in a tailspin. I was feeling defeated. Completely and utterly defeated but I woke up this morning with a taste of vengeance in my soul. The hackers may have won the battle but I will win this war and there’s no stopping me from sharing amazing music with all of you. Before I get into this first single of the day, please make sure to follow this blog directly through WordPress. Obviously, I hope I never get hacked again and have some more and new security in place but, at the end of the day, this is a blog, not a social media account. Now, without further ado, let me introduce you to “Dream Snakes” from Made Aware.

Made Aware is a punk band from Birmingham, Alabama with a sound that will hit you straight in the gut. Their new track “Dream Snakes” is fast, aggressive, and absolutely perfect. This song in particular has the speed of Descendents and the angst of Avail all wrapped up into one perfect minute and a half long song. It’s a short song and definitely moves fast but I love how Made Aware is able to lay out a complete thought and song within that short amount of time. If you’re looking for a song to give you that swift kick in the butt to get going today, “Dream Snakes” from Made Aware is the one for you!
