Girl at the Rock Shows

I took yesterday off to spend the entire day at the great Minnesota get together (aka the Minnesota State Fair) with my boyfriend. It was a great time but now it’s back to reality and my reality is a bit more stressed than usual due to my Facebook being hacked. Honestly, it’s kind of nice not to get lost in the blackhole that is my news feed but I run two companies that rely a lot on Facebook so the stress I am feeling right now is truly unreal. That being said, it’s just social media and I am trying my best to not let it get to me. In order to keep my mind off it and to distract myself from the millions of texts asking me about those Taylor Swift tickets I am apparently selling which I have to explain is all fake and is a hack, I figured we should check out the first song of the day.

Boy Blue is a pop-rock band from Bloomfield, NJ with a clear sense of personality and power that comes through in their song “Sage Green”. I love everything about this boppy little track from the song to the video. It’s bright and light but comes with a sense of carefree and childlike fun that will have you smiling from ear to ear by the time the cheesy video and super fun song is said and done. There’s a classic pop-punk hook in this song surrounded by just pure pop-rock gold creating a vibe that will be so fun to get lost in and so hard to walk away from so, what are you waiting for?
