Slowly Slowly – “Forgiving Spree”

Do you ever think back and wondering if you should go on a bit of a “Forgiving Spree”? I think we all do. It could be small things, it could be giant conversations but I think we all have these certain times in life when we look back and just wish we could apologize or go back and forgive people. It’s that chip on our shoulder that we never quite get away. Slowly Slowly has put all of these thoughts and feeling into a song that is beyond perfect.

I really mean it when I say that “Forgiving Spree” from Slowly Slowly takes all of those feelings and puts them into a song. It’s a fun and upbeat song but the words of the track hit straight to the core. I think, as a society, we all need to get a bit better about just forgiving one another. I mean, let’s face it, we’ve all been through a crap ton over the past decade or two and we’ve all made some mistakes but, at the end of the day, we are only human (even though society has us all running around like we are robots). There’s heart and a fire in this song that hit me so hard that I started to tear up at my desk. I promise that I’m not being dramatic. “Forgiving Spree” from Slowly Slowly is just one of those songs that hits and it hits hard so buckle up and brace yourself for a truly magical and spectacular three and a half minute long ride.
