The Radiant – “Art Kidz” – Girl at the Rock Shows

It’s been a hot minute since I have caught up with The Radiant. I had the honor of interviewing them back in June and ended the interview with telling you to follow this amazing band on their socials so you don’t miss anything new from them. I’m sure you did that but, just in case you didn’t or were late to the party, let me introduce you to The Radiant’s killer new song “Art Kidz”.

“Art Kidz” is a song about staying true to yourself. It’s about knowing your worth and doing everything you do with a sense of heart while not stomping on that worth at the same time. The band’s favorite track from their upcoming LP ‘Take 3’ (due out in January of 2025), I love the heart along with the message that radiates throughout this track (see what I did there?). It’s just so perfectly polished but yet has this raw sense of emotion and energy flowing throughout it. I love how The Radiant doesn’t force anything in this song. It feels like every note and ever word in placed in a fantastically organic way creating this very chill yet thoughtful soundscape that is so easy to get lost in. “Art Kidz” surely won’t be the most intense thing you hear all day but it is one of those songs that will hit you hard and in a perfect way.
