Whoa! What a freaking day. It’s already lunch and I haven’t had next to any time to check out new music today. That being said, the new music I’m finding the small time to check out is absolutely hitting the spot with “Bad Habits” from Harri Georgio being no exception.
“Bad Habits” is the first release from Harri Georgio’s upcoming debut EP and it has me so excited to hear more from this rising UK artist. This song reminds me of a more commercialized version of Bob Vylan. I know that may not sound like a good thing as I typically stray away from commercial music but I love what it brings to this intense yet infectious track. Call it rap metal, maybe a little drum & bass, even a little grunge and reggae, call it what you want, “Bad Habits” will fill you with the perfect amount of energy to power through the day and, if you’re having a day like me, you need it. This song is aggressive but upbeat in a way that makes you want to get crap done, not break stuff and I love that. The energy is that of an act that is pleading to be seen live so, if you’re in the UK or have the opportunity to check out Harri Georgio live, please send me all of the videos because I want to know if it’s as amazing as I think it would be just from listening to this high-energy track.
