Remember when I shared “From The Wayside” from prom with you last month? No? Well, have no fear. I’m back today to share yet another absolutely amazing track from this up and coming band that is more than worthy of your attention this afternoon.

The third and final single from the album campaign that prom is currently doing, “Realized” is one of those songs that catches you right away. There’s a severe guitar tone that kicks off this song before the band drags you into their world of a very distinct emo/ shoegaze/ grunge/ post-hardcore sounds. This song really hooked me because of the intensity and that aforementioned severity. There’s something almost clashing about some of the tones in this song but they come together so well and, when added to the emotional vocals on top of it all, you are left with one of those songs that just hits you. There’s no other way to put it. If you need a pick me up, this song is here to give you a swift kick in the butt. If you need a pillow to scream into, this song will help release some of your anger. If you need a shoulder to cry on, lean on “Realized”. If you just need to feel something, anything at all, let prom show you the way and be that feeling. Seriously people, this is one of those songs that you just have to hear (and feel) for yourself. So what are you waiting for?
