The line-up for When We Were Young next year just got released. I swore I wouldn’t go to the festival again. Although I always have a good time, it’s just too many people and too big of a price tag for me to justify going back year after year. Then they dropped the line-up. Panic at the Disco, The Rocket Summer, Set Your Goals– Yup- they got me and I will be there next year but, for the time being, this line-up has me going down “Memory Lane” which is the perfect reason to check out “Memory Lane” from PARIAH.

This song is the third track from Italian rockers PARIAH and it definitely packs a punch. The soft and delicate intro of this songs quickly gives way to a nostalgia fueled and emotion drenched full sound. Although a bit more somber than I thought I was in the mood for right now, “Memory Lane” hit me and hit me hard. The lyrics tell the story of dealing with the feeling of life slipping away as you age. Although the song talks about regrets which is something that I don’t really relate to (I promise that’s not a cocky statement, more that I try to live a very full life), the emotion is absolutely something that got under my skin and into my soul in a perfect way. Even if you don’t think you’re in the mood for somber and, quite frankly, emo, I highly suggest you check out “Memory Lane” from PARIAH and get lost in your own memories along with the beautiful sound that is PARIAH.
