I have a love/hate relationship with Fridays. Obviously, I love them because it means it’s the weekend and I finally get a breather after what is always a super busy and stressful week. I hate them because I feel like I get lazy very quickly. For example- I am already done with my weekly check-ins with my booking clients, caught up on my day job, and mostly caught up on emails. If I were smart, I would get a head start on next week’s to-do list but, instead, I find myself surfing the net and just starring off into space looking forward to the nap I’m going to take when I get home. Like I said, love/hate, but I am determined to try and at least get some things done today and that includes sharing new music.

There was no background information on Ryan Hendry or their new song “I Know You’re Lonely” when I got the submission but, really, I didn’t need anything more than this track. “I Know You’re Lonely” may have a fairly depressive title but don’t let that fool you. This boppy song comes with a sense of whimsical fun and a super infectious chorus. Honestly, this is a simple song, it’s not over thought and doesn’t seem to come with any hidden messages and that’s what makes it so great. It’s just a song that you can carry around with you to comfort you when you are feeling a little lonely. It’s a little dramatic, a little musical-leaning, and oh so perfect.
