I used to be the type of person that waited for happiness that seemed to never come. Although I’m so thankful that I moved away from that mentality, there are still moments where I get frustrated and I feel a bit lost when just trying to get through day-to-day life. That’s what this song is about. It’s about the frustration of waiting for happiness that may or may not come, the pain and feeling of loss that comes with just going through the motions of daily life. Long story short, this song is about life but it adds a sense of spice that we could all use a little bit more of with the amount of energy and power that comes through in this pop-punk perfect jam. TeethOut reminds you that you can live a normal life but still have fun with it. I love how “Streetlights” acknowledges the sense of longing we all know too well while also reminding you that you don’t have to long for, well, long. Long story short, “Streetlights” from TeethOut is a jam that will raise you out of any rut you may find yourself in right now.
