Girl at the Rock Shows

It’s not even lunchtime and I’m already struggling to stay awake. It was a late night last night made even later by one too many Red Bulls at the show I was at. Like usual, I’ll make it through somehow and then take an epic nap before it’s time for my show tonight but, right now, I’m dragging and need something to pull me back up. “Saw You Walk By Tonight” by West Mark is doing just the trick.

This is a catchy little bop that is very much in the indie rock vein of things but brings a sense of chutzpah to the table. I love the sweetness that comes with this song. It’s warm and cozy making it the perfect track for the dreary Friday morning. It also has energy behind it with a jangle that will surely make you want to dance a little bit or at least just start to daydream for a little bit. It’s a quick song at just about two and a half minutes long but I love how West Mark fits so many emotions, so many layers, and so much talent within the short time this song lasts. If you’re looking for something to get you going this morning or something to add a little razzle dazzle to your Friday daydream, “Saw You Walk By Tonight” from West Mark is the song for you.
