I know it’s not even noon yet but I’m started to fade and need a little pick-me-up. Thankfully, “Bloody Mary” from Cult Tides is doing just the trick right now.
Cult Tides wastes no time in this song when it comes to hitting you with their powerful sound. Right at the beginning they come at you with this incredible wall of sound before falling into the fast-paced punk rock vibe that is “Bloody Mary”. Right off the bat, this band reminds me of a bunch of great punk bands like Banner Pilot and Iron Chic. This song has an edge and a sense of aggression to it but there’s also something oddly comforting about it. As if all of this wasn’t enough to have you sold on “Bloody Mary” from Cult Tides, let’s talk about the infectious groove throughout this song. I was hooked within my first listen and, when I was done with that initial listen, I couldn’t get the hook of this track out of my head.
Don’t let your exhaustion get the best of you. Push play on “Bloody Mary” from Cult Tides and turn up the volume. It will surely snap you back to life in no time.
