Well, it’s Monday again. Although my weekend didn’t go quite as planned, it was a great weekend full of housework and getting caught up on sleep. I’m ready to take on the week and am ready to share more singles than you can probably keep up with starting with “Stop Calling” from Queen Cult.

“Stop Calling” is full of swagger and attitude. Situated in the alt-rock vein of things, this song really showcases lead singer and founder of Queen Cult, Maisie Johnson. Every word she sings and performs in this song and video is just so full of such a bad ass energy. There’s no other way to put it. It will have you hooked instantly. Add the catchiness of this song and you are left with a perfect song. I really like the sentiment behind this song as well. It’s about receiving unwanted attention and having your boundaries being constantly crossed which is something that we can all relate to from time to time. This song gives you a triumphant feeling of being about to just say– “Stop Calling” or, for lack of a better term, leave me the eff alone. “Stop Calling” from Queen Cult will leave you stomping your feet and pumping your fists in all of the right ways.
