Life is a bit weird right now. I spent my weekend living at my brother’s house to watch his dog while he and his wife were out of town. Now I’m prepping to leave for Las Vegas at the end of the week to cover Punk Rock Bowling. I feel like I just can’t settle into much of anything right now but, at the same time, know that I can’t give in and need to stick with my routine this week so I don’t fall super duper behind on things. My head may not be in the game right now but maybe all I need is some new music so let’s just jump into a new week of amazing singles, albums, and concerts starting with “Passing Time” from No Dreams.

“Passing Time” is the perfect song to kick off your Monday with even if you are really feeling an epic case of the Mondays. This is a pop-punk perfect kind of song that will make you smile, make you want to jump, and, most importantly, just make you feel. It’s a song about how things change as time passes. I love how it doesn’t take a super dark look at this subject matter but, instead, leaves it up to interpretation. Do you want to be reminiscent and sad about how things have changed over the years? “Passing Time” allows you to do that. Do you prefer to be positive and optimistic about how things have changed over the years? “Passing Time” allows you to do that too. This song caters to your current head space which is just the cherry on top to this already perfect track from Denver based No Dreams.
