I am determined to have a better day than yesterday. Yesterday was bonkers and I felt like I was drowning all day but not today. I don’t care how busy work gets. I’m going to keep my head up and do my best because, in the end, that’s all I can do. With that in mind, I need some new songs to set me straight so let’s start the day off with “Seafoam” from Deadweight..

Deadweight. mentioned that this song is a little different for them as far as style and writing goes but you could have fooled me. “Seafoam” is a flawless track. It’s three minutes and ten seconds of pop-punk bliss. There’s clearly emotion drenching every beat of this song but, at the same time, there’s this slight glimmer of angst with some of the words and notes. I love it and it reminds me a bit of The Wonder Years meets The Early November. I love that this song doesn’t have a typical verse/ chorus cadence to it. Instead, Deadweight. seems to let the passion and emotion fuel and drive this song leading to an unforgettable song that you will want to listen to over and over again.
