Slowly Slowly – “All Time” – Girl at the Rock Shows

There are small glimmers of hope as far as me getting my socials back. I won’t get into the specifics but it seems like the powers that be are working on it and it has me feeling optimistic. Now I’m stuck between if I want to continue to beef up my makeshift profile right now or just let it ride and see what happens with my original account. It’s a hard line to dabble and I’m frustrated that I’m on this line to begin with but it’s not going to stop me from reviewing music because, really, new music is the only thing keeping me sane right now so let’s jump into another day of great new tracks from bands you’ve probably never heard of but should be following right now.

“All Time” from Slowly Slowly will instantly have you captivated. The way the song starts off with the vocals in the forefront and instrumentation daintily placed around the powerful lyrics is absolutely genius. The sound grows as this four and a half minute song plays on leading you deeper and deeper into Slowly Slowly’s beautiful world. I’ll admit, this group’s world is a bit more commercial than I tend to go for but there’s something just so beautiful and powerful about this song. On top of that, it’s catchy. Think boy-band catchy but without the synchronized dance moves and extra cheese. All in all, it’s one of those songs that absolutely feels like it could be a top-40 hit but has way more heart and passion behind it than most top-40 tracks.
