I mean, it’s a simple question, “ARE WE ALRIGHT?” but it comes with many complicated answers. Maybe we’re alright with some aspects of our lives but, at any given time, we have a mess that we are trying to clean up or find ourselves just barely staying above water. Letters From Suburbia puts a fun and infectious spin on this question that can often lead us down a dark and twisty road of inner reflection.

“ARE WE ALRIGHT?” is pure pop-punk gold. There’s really no other way to put it. From the super bouncy beat of the track to the bright instrumentation and all all-too-real lyrics, this is truly just the epitome of the genre that means so much to my heart and soul. Although this song may not quite give you the answer to this timeless question, it will absolutely put a smile on your face and leave a beat stuck in your head. One of the things I really like about this song is the styling and composition of the vocals. They go from your classic pop-punk vibe to something a bit more robotic and almost spoken word styled. I feel like this just emphasizes the relatability of this track in a perfect way. Whether you are alright right right now or are questioning that, take a second and breath while letting Letters From Suburbia remind you that, although things can always get better, they aren’t always as bad as they seem.
