Girl at the Rock Shows

It took me far too long to realize that I actually went to college with Orion Redwolf. I heard his song “Good Lord” and absolutely fell in love but there was something oddly familiar about the overall vibe. It comforted me in this odd way that only an old friend could do and, although Orion and I had few interactions in college, when I realized that I knew exactly who this was, my heart started to flutter. Although I went to a music college, not many of us are still in the game so hearing such a stunning single from a fellow McNally Smith graduate made me smile from ear to ear.

“Good Lord” has a growl to it. I don’t know how else to put it but the swagger mixed with the endless amount of energy that radiates from this three-minute long song is like a growl that hits you deep in your soul and then continue to radiate throughout your whole body. This song is as bold as it is ear catching with it’s stunning and dazzling guitar solos and solid rhythm section that keeps the muddy and heavy beat trucking along. “Good Lord” is one of those just all around perfect high-energy rock songs with lyrics that question “Are you happy, can you even be?” and, let me tell you, after listening to this song, you will absolutely be happy and ready to take on whatever your day may hold.
