I’m on a roll this morning. Although completely overwhelmed by the stack of work that was waiting for me when I came back from vacation, I’m hopeful and optimistic that it will be an okay day. “Tomorrow” from iothesinger is helping with my current burst of positivity.

“Tomorrow” from iothesinger is hitting the spot in more ways than one. As they put it, “According to the World Health Organization, anxiety and depression has increased by an overwhelming 25%.  As an artist, as someone who has struggled intimately with anxiety and as a former teacher whose students, colleagues and friends also struggled, Tomorrow and my upcoming album is my way of helping myself and others feel seen and heard.” Honestly, “Tomorrow”, the single, absolutely made me feel seen and heard in such a powerful and beautiful way. It makes me wonder how iothesinger could possibly pull this same feeling off for multiple songs in their upcoming album. I love the triumphant energy behind this track and how it matches those “pull yourself up by the boostraps” lyrics but what really hooked me are the few moments of pure rage and angst. The fact that the angsty part right around the 2:05 mark is quickly followed up by one of the most stunning a cappella parts I have ever heard absolutely left me with goosebumps. After listening to this song a couple of times, I can’t help but want to fill the rest of my day with iothesinger’s energy and positivity. If you’re in need of something to remind you that everything is going to be okay even if it doesn’t feel like it right now, check out “Tomorrow” immediately.
