Girl at the Rock Shows

I know I just shared out “I Don’t Like You” from ALTARBOY just over a week ago but it’s already been a day for me and I need something that will make me smile while also giving me a swift kick in the ass to get some stuff done and, based on what I heard in “I Don’t Like You”, ALTARBOY is the band that will do just the trick. With that in mind, please let me introduce you to another new song from this amazing group titled “Scream Queen”.

Not only is this song perfect because it’s by ALTARBOY, but it’s also perfect because it’s a catchy little punk song that pays homage to 80s horror making it perfect for Halloween Eve. The lyrics that tell the story about falling in love with a girl who is being hunted by a killer may be a bit campy but there’s nothing campy about the perfection of this song. This two and a half minute track will fly by as it’s done with a sense of ferocious energy and speed but ALTARBOY stays in control of the chaos throughout the song. From the fun that comes with the story to the energy that comes with the instrumentation, “Scream Queen” from ALTARBOY is truly the only way to kick off your Tuesday especially if, like me, yours has kicked off with a bit of a rocky beginning.
