Girl at the Rock Shows

I’m so far behind on sharing new music with you all. I’m sorry about that, but, honestly, I needed a break. I was burnt out, and every time I tried to get back into it, I lost interest. Burnout is real, but so are comebacks, so I’m staging an epic comeback this week full of amazing new music that you should absolutely check out and spend some time with this season, starting with “Lose My Breath” from Lamps Required.

Lamps Required has such a cool sound that is in the spotlight when it comes to their brand-new track “Lose My Breath”. The band blends everything from indie rock to emo punk so perfectly in this track. Right off the bat, the raw emotion and raw recording style of this track reminded me of Joyce Manor, but there’s something just a bit more commercial about this song. I don’t mean that as a bad thing at all. Honestly, it’s what had me hooked into Lamps Required’s world. I loved how this song seemed to ease me into the week at the same time as it gave me enough energy needed to power through this manic Monday morning. I’m hoping you get the same thing and end up wanting so much more from Lamps Required after checking out this one single. Although this is a standalone single, the band released a live album just a wee bit ago, so feel free to go down the rabbit hole that is Lamps Required.
