Girl at the Rock Shows

It’s Tuesday and I’m ready to kick some ass and take some names. I actually got some sleep last night and, although I’m still tired because, well, I’m always tired, I’m feeling motivated and ready to conquer my to-do list including sharing new music with you. Although I surely won’t get to the end of the list, I can definitely hammer this pile down a little bit so let’s just jump into the day starting with “girl talk” from see through person.

see through person is an emo band from Fort Myers Florida. “girl talk” is the first single off of their album ‘every way of living’ and it will surely leave you wanting so much more from this band. Although they are absolutely an emo band, there’s a math rock flavor to this song that makes it stand out and hooks you. Glittery guitars highlight the highly emotionally charged vocals in such a perfect way. The intensity of the drums hits throughout this nearly four minute song command your attention effortlessly and give you a boost of energy while also giving you a couple of minutes to just breathe and get lost in your own head and the world of see through person. Make sure to listen to this full song. You may think you know what’s coming within the first minute or so of the track but there’s a twist to this song that is truly exceptional.
