Girl at the Rock Shows

The day is trucking right along for me. I have nothing quirky or exciting to report right now but I do have an amazing new song to share with you.

I’ve been to Sioux Falls, South Dakota before and, honestly, it’s about as boring as Des Moines, Iowa is yet, somehow, that town has curated the perfection that is Lilac Jam. Lilac Jam’s song “Big Red” may not be new as it came out seven months ago but it is absolutely worth your attention and love this morning. I really like this song because it has pop-punk tendencies in the overall composition and some of the riffs of the track but, as a whole, this song comes off as perfectly aggressive and very angsty. Everything you could ever want for a Tuesday morning song. There’s a super solid hook that lead into an extra splash of angsty lyrics before you finally get to the best part of this track– the breakdown. Through and through, this in-your-face track is perfect and will absolutely fill you with a sense of piss and vinegar to help you get through today (in the best way possible, of course).
