Girl at the Rock Shows

I know it may not seem like I’m getting a lot done but, really, it’s been an uber-productive morning for me. I’m not 100% caught up from the weekend yet but I’m getting there and I feel like that calls for a celebration in the form of another new track.

Apparently, “No Turning Back” marks the beginning of a new phase for Hold Me Tight. Truthfully, I don’t know what that means as I have never heard of Hold Me Tight before this song but I do know that I’m here for this phase (whether it’s new or not). This song is relentless and extreme. It’s fast, furious, and everything spicy with a blend of metal, hardcore, punk, and even a dash of grindcore thrown in there. Although there’s a lot happening throughout this song, I love the way the vocals cut through it all and really guide your ears and heart throughout this three-minute track. Although relentless, there are moments where the composition completely changes and I love how that gives this song a sense of drama and really emphasizes the raw emotion that can be felt throughout this song.
