Happy Wednesday, everyone. I hope you are all having a good week thus far– I know I am. I’m exhausted because of my current show bender but the shows have been so good that I feel like this exhaustion feels just a bit different. It feels almost satisfying in a weird way, and although I’m tired to the point where keeping my eyes open feels like a task, I’m feeling motivated to get things done, so let’s keep it up and fill today with some amazing new music, starting with “Water For Dogs” from Wet Denim.

The title track from Wet Denim’s new EP, “Water For Dogs,” is a hard-hitting anthem. I’m not talking about the wall of sound that Wet Denim hits you with right from the get-go; I’m also talking about the emotion and passion that this New Zealand-based band brings to this song. From the tender moments to the more angst-filled sections of this song, everything Wet Denim does in this song is clearly done with a sense of fire and conviction. The song is super smooth as it moves through different vibes and feelings while keeping an infectious energy at the forefront. This is the kind of song that fills you with energy while also giving you all the warm and cozy feelings. Long story short, it’s perfect for a chilly Wednesday morning.
