There’s something raw, honest, and oh so addicting about Bethan Wyn’s debut single “Get To Know You”. I instantly fell in love with everything about Bethan and, being me, just had to know a bit more about this super talented UK-based singer/ songwriter so how about another round of “Random Questions With A Rockstar Who Definitely Has Better Things To Do With Her Time Than Answer My Silly Questions Yet For Some Reason Still Entertains My Unconventional Questions”. What’s a new hobby you have taken up during quarantine? If no hobby, is there a random TV show that you binged/ have a very strong opinion on?
Just before lockdown, I started to play women’s rugby for a local team. Thankfully, outdoor facilities and organised sports were able to reopen providing they were covid compliant, so I was lucky to dip in and out of fitness throughout the lockdown! It was super beneficial for my mental health š

What’s the most awkward date you’ve ever been on?
A guy suggested we meet at some flashy wine bar/restaurant on a first date – I agreed to meet him albeit thinking he was going a little overboard to āimpressā me. When I arrived, he compared me to a pub which set the tone for the eveningā¦it was downhill from there. When the bill came, I offered to go dutch. He āforgotā his bank card. When he attempted to pay with a secondary card, it was void. He then proceeded to tell me his internet banking was inaccessible and had been hacked so he had to leave immediately. I think he just fancied a nice flashy dinner out of me & succeeded – haha! Iām sure thereās been others but that one springs to mind first!
What’s your favorite pizza topping(s)?
Something with caramelised onions, peppers, chicken and mozzarella probably!

If you could compare yourself to a bird, what bird would it be and why?
Song Thrush – KIDDING!!! I actually took one of those online tests about this randomly! It told me I was a Dove? – loyal and compassionate. That being said, I definitely can be stubborn like an Eagle!
What’s your favorite method of listening to music?
Vinyl 100% ā¦ thereās just something about that crackle!
Favorite lyrics of all time?
āIād rather live in his world, than live without him in mineā – Gladys Knight, Midnight Train To Georgia. Itās not a lyric thatās particularly personal to me but I just think itās beautifully written and simplistic, yet says so much at the same time.
What era do you think you should have been born in and why?
My image is constantly changing eras! Iām really into my fashion so Iām currently going through a 70s phase at the moment. Musically speaking, I grew up listening to music over every decade (my music taste is so diverse – haha!) but as a teenager, vocally my voice tended to a lot of 50’s jazz growing up, so I guess if I wanted a career out of it, I shouldāve been born in the 40ās!
If you were to rob a bank, what would be the song playing in the getaway car as you escape?

Essentially a running commentary of what itād be like to date me.
So, I’m only a little concerened about how she already has a few options as far as her getaway song is concerned but, beyond that (and including that– let’s be honest), it was so fun seeing another side of this super talented songstress.
