“Void Fill” from JessX is sure to catch you right off the bat. This song starts with a line of lyrics that has such an undeniable sense of sass and attitude that it’s impossible to not get hooked.
“Void Fill” is short but it packs a punch. My favorite part of this song is the vocals– it’s not even the lyrics like it usually is (although I do love those)– but it’s straight up the aggressive and angsty edge that comes through so loud and clear with every word of this song. At only a minute and a half, this really is a quick listen but it is also the perfect length for a song like this. Anything else and the song may become a bit repetitive and boring but anything shorter and I don’t think it would hit you as it should. What I’m trying to say is that JessX knew exactly what they were doing when they put this song out and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
