I’m feeling like heavy music today. I’m not sure why but it’s just hitting the spot so, naturally, I want to share some of these heavy songs with you and right now, I just can not get enough of Harvest the Lost’s track “Cast Into The Lake Ov Fire”.
This four minute track absolutely packs a punch. I love the epicness of the intro as it really draws you in before Harvest the Lost smacks you right in the face with their signature blend of energy and power. I feel like metal is a hard one for me to write about because, well, it’s metal. There’s fast guitars, slamming drums, and intense vocals but this song seems to be so much more. That being said, I find myself lost for words as I listen to “Cast Into The Lake Ov Fire”. It’s just one of those songs that is so perfectly heavy and flawlessly executed that you really just need to let it take over your mind, body, and soul to really understand the talent behind this band.
