I know I just got done telling you how I was really digging the heavy music this morning but I just can’t resist a solid pop-punk song and that’s exactly what you get with “Uncool Kids” from NLM. This song is fairly simple and predictable if you’re a big fan of pop-punk but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t spend some time with it. There’s power and catchiness sprinkled throughout this song all topped off with that classic “make you smile” type of energy. There’s a bit of a rally cry vibe in this song which is absolutely perfect and, with lyrics about just stopping the terrible act of comparing ourselves to those around us, this is truly one of those pop-punk perfect kind of tracks. So let the sunshine hit your face and turn the volume up loud while you enjoy “Uncool Kids” from NLM!
