Girl at the Rock Shows

I feel like I am a woman of few words right now. I just have nothing to share with you at this point in time but that’s okay. Few words came with Turkey Camp’s track “Rose’s Amulet” but that doesn’t change the fact that it is an absolutely amazing track.

Turkey Camp is a 3-member monthly writing group. At least that’s one of the few details I got on this group. I have to be honest, I don’t know exactly what a monthly writing group entails but, after hearing “Rose’s Amulet”, I feel like it’s something that should happen more frequently. The second single from their debut EP, “Wolves”, the delicate balance throughout this track left me speechless. Turkey Camp has this way of balancing power with beauty, light with dark, perfect with imperfect. clean with scratchy– see where I’m going with this? There’s so much power behind “Rose’s Amulet” that it evokes a sense of feeling out of you instantly. Think of it as a bit of an outlet and, on a Wednesday of a week that seems to be never-ending, that’s something I think we could all use. So, sit back, and let the power and beauty of “Rose’s Amulet” take you over!
