Honeytalks – “Familiar Times” - Girl at the Rock Shows

I am starting to feel my motivation fade. I’ve been going strong for hours already today but, at this point, all I can think about is the epic nap I’m going to take in a couple of hours. I still have a lot of work to get done before that and, thankfully, Honeytalks is coming in clutch with their song “Familiar Times” to help me power through until said nap.

Honeytalks is a punk/rock power pop band and I really want to emphasize the “power” part of that description. This song instantly smacks you right in the face and gives you a burst of energy. With a classic pop-punk sound, upbeat tempo, and catchy chorus, this song is seriously just one of those feel-good kind of tracks. It’s pretty crazy to listen to “Familiar Times” and realize that this is just a trio. I mean, really, the wall of sound that comes with this band is staggering. With vocals that are sure to leave you in love and a beat that will get stuck in your head instantly, just one listen to “Familiar Times” will have you falling head over heels with Honeytalks.
