Worriers – “Trust Your Gut” - Girl at the Rock Shows

My few days off were amazing but I am ready to hit the ground running and get back into it. What better way to get back into the swing of things than with “Trust Your Gut” from Worriers.

I’ve been a huge fan of Worriers for some time now and this song is a perfect introduction to this highly versatile act. In the past, I feel like I have always picked up on the slight angst and punk edge that comes from Worriers but “Trust Your Gut” had me leaning into the more poppy and infectiously indie vibe of this band in a great way. Think Bleachers meets Against Me! with a classic Social Distortion attitude and you might get close too what Worriers is but I truly believe that this is an act that can not be boxed into a certain genre or style. Compare them to who you want but I’m willing to bet that listening to this song and watching the infectiously fun video will have you smiling from ear to ear even on a Monday so what are you waiting for?
