Happy Wednesday, everyone. I both don’t know how it’s already Wednesday and can’t believe it’s already Wednesday. Yeah, it’s one of those weeks so when the description for the band The Carolyn came across with the first words “Sleep deprived punk trio from Atlanta, Georgia…”, well, I knew I was going to connect with the band.
Within the first few seconds of this all-too-short song (it’s under two minutes long), I knew it was going to be an instant standard on the daily playlist of my life. Think Iron Chic, The Menzingers, and even a wee bit of The Gaslight Anthem– The Carolyn has an instantly classic punk sound that bridges worlds between pop-punk, grunge, post-punk and everything in-between. My favorite part of “LBB” is the raspy vocals and the way they seem to juxtapose the more upbeat and almost pop-punk flavored instrumentation. Although this has become a fairly common combination for bands these days, the way The Carolyn does it is just so perfect that it’s easy to fall in love with this band.

Had the same feeling! Have you ever head Sport? Reggie Lewis
LBB has also a bit of that feeling and it also hits a bit like Blink 182 Dammit
