I don’t have a witty intro right now. I’m just trying to stay awake at my desk while trying to plan an early escape from the office so let’s go ahead and do something slightly productive with this time and check out another new track!
This pick is “Rabbit Holes” from Canadian-based band Tucana. This song is super high energy and has such a cool blend of genres in it. You get a very 90s alt-rock vibe right off the bat with the instrumentation in this track but you get something leaning a bit more into hardcore punk when it comes to the vocals. It’s a distinct and brilliant sound that instantly caught me. “Rabbit Holes” is only the second release from this band but it was clear before I wrapped up this three minute and forty five second song that there will be a lot more to come from Tucana. Even if this song isn’t quite for you, I truly think the band will be. I mean, the are, and I quote, “Proud, joint owners of a Margaritavilla Frozen Concoction Maker™️“. What isn’t there to love about that?!
