Let’s continue to go down this rabbit hole of new music without any theme. Although there’s really no theme stylistically to what I’ve been sharing today, the one thing all of these songs have in common is how great and creative they are.
“Pretty Little Nightmare” from Fountain Island is no different. This song is boppy and poppy but with a little angsty edge that keeps the song feeling energetic and exciting. There’s definitely a nod to bands like Blink 182 and Waterparks throughout this track but Fountain Island has clearly found their own brand of pop-punk which is laid out perfectly throughout “Pretty Little Nightmare”. I really can not stress how catchy the chorus of this song is. If you’re not in the mood to have a song stuck in your head for the forseeable future, maybe don’t listen to this because it’s an instant earworm. I, for one, can not wait to hear more pop-punk-perfection from Fountain Islands. What a great band with an amazing sound and songs to share.
