Girl at the Rock Shows

I can feel myself clenching my teeth more and more as my day moves on. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good day. I’m getting a lot done and am excited for my show tonight but my work load is insane right now and I’m feeling the heat. I know that I do this to myself but sometimes I just wish people would understand that I am only one person with a bajillion jobs and a social life but I digress. Clearly I need a song to help me blow off some pent up aggression and that’s exactly what you get with “Are You Not Entertained?” from Muscle Crowe.

I know it will take you a second to get over the hilarity of this band name but, once you do, you will get hit right in the gut by the intensity and brutality of this track. With nods to many of the great old-school metalcore acts like Killswtich Engage and As I Lay Dying but with a fresh take on the vibe, “Are You Not Entertained?” has me, well, entertained. There’s a sense of perfection when it comes to this song. Sure, it’s heavy and intense so if you don’t like metal music, this probably wouldn’t be for you but, if you are a metalhead, there’s no way you can ignore the attention to detail in this song. All of the layers of brutality come through loud and clear and each note is concise. The vocals match this perfection as they seem to nail every beat home just a wee bit harder. Long story short, “Are You Not Entertained?” from Muscle Crow was exactly what I needed. If you’re starting to feel the stress of the day get the best of you, I highly suggest checking this track out.
