I don’t have a super fun intro for you right now and I’m sorry. That being said, don’t let my writer’s block stop you from checking out the next song I have to share for you. Sure, I’m lost for words but that’s just because I fell so in love with Seventh Floor after hearing their song “Healing”. I feel like I’m still “Healing” from the shock and awe. Okay, cheesey, like I said, don’t let this intro deter you from checking out this track.
“Healing” is full of heart but it’s also full of fun. This is a pop-punk anthem with a sense of angst and energy that will leave you breathless. On top of that, there’s an undeniable coziness behind the soft yet strong vocals in this song. The cherry on top? Obviously, like all good pop-punk jams, it’s the lyrics. This song is about leaving that predetermined life path behind you. It’s about finding your own and staying true to yourself which is definitely a message I stand behind. Whether you are looking for a triumphant jingle to help snap you out of a mental rut you have been in lately or just looking for a new pop-punk jam to play at top volumes while you dance around like an idiot, “Healing” from Seventh Floor is the track for you.
