Girl at the Rock Shows

My Monday is still going eerily smooth. Sure, there have been some curve balls here and there but it’s nothing I can’t handle or put off until tomorrow. That being said, I can feel myself falling into my typical afternoon slump where motivation dwindles and the thought of a night full of errands and more work feels daunting. I won’t give in. I need something to jolt me back to life and help me continue with my super productive Monday.

“DEFAMATION” from DON JENVER is definitely a jolt to say the least. Beyond the hilarity of this band name (I mean, just think about it, DON JENVER), their new song “DEFAMATION” is a true banger. It take a couple of seconds for you to really feel the weight of this band but, once you do, it’s something that you will want so much more of. This song is a straight up deathcore song which, for me, typically means a mess of aggression and intensity but I love how clearly you can hear all of the parts throughout this song especially at the epic breakdown right about a minute and a half into this track. “DEFAMATION” is hard, chaotic, and perfect so, if you are like me and are just looking for a jolt of energy, try this song on for size!
