Although I’m getting a lot done today, my head is already in sunny Las Vegas taking in the sights and sounds of Punk Rock Bowling. I still have a day and a half before I leave which means plenty of time to share out some more new music with you before going fairly AWOL for the weekend. I just hope some of these songs give me the motivation I need to keep getting stuff done. Thankfully, that’s exactly what “Vibes” from Harry Jxye is doing right now.
“Vibes” is a pop-punk-perfect track with a pop-punk-perfect story line. It’s an upbeat jam about trying to escape your home town and chase your dreams. Thankfully for me, I did make it out of my home town but the way the lyrics of this track are laid out makes this still a relatable track for me. Not only is this track catchy, it addictive and will instantly get stuck in your head leaving you wanting more from this South West England based act. Harry Jxye is only twenty-five years old so I expect a lot more from him. You should probably get on this train now because Harry Jxye is going to be an act to watch and, in true pop-punk fashion, you’ll want to be able to tell your friends how you knew of Harry before he blew up.
